A Berwickshire wildlife photographer is in the running for a prestigious national award.
Laurie Campbell has been shortlisted for the Scottish Nature Photography Awards.
Laurie is shortlisted for his collection put together with Anna Levin, Otters: Return to the River (published this by Birlinn).
Laurie has previously taken home more than 20 BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year accolades, and he previously photographed otters as part of Wild Wonders, a Europe-wide project that consisted of more than 150,000 wildlife images.
The Scottish Nature Photography Awards showcase quality Scottish nature photography through the annual competition but they also highlight the important role that these books can play in inspiring, informing and entertaining people by conducting a biennial public vote to find the Favourite Scottish Nature Photography Book.
And there is still time left for the public to vote in an online poll.
Voting is open at www.scottishnaturephotographyawards.com where everyone who takes part will be entered in a free prize draw for one lucky individual to win the entire shortlist of books.
Voting closes at noon on December 19.
The winning book and the prize draw winner will be announced on the awards’ website in January 2015.
