Organisers were hoping to make this year’s second Kirk Square Kitchen even bigger and better than last year’s.
And last Saturday visitors, local producers, musicians and stall holders braved a stiff wind to make that hope a reality.
Stalls offering the best of Berwickshire’s natural larder were crammed into the Kirk Square, with seafood, baking, ice-cream and local cheeses all on offer. And if you had a taste for oysters you were in luck, with a chance to take part in the oyster-eating time challenge.
There was music throughout the day from local players and groups, including Reston Concert Band, Summerland and the Podlies.
