Police advice is that if you suspect an offence has been, or is being, committed: never approach suspects or intervene if you suspect someone is committing a wildlife crime; report an incident even if you are unsure whether an offence is being committed as wildlife crime is not always obvious; take a note of the date, time and weather conditions; give police as much detail as possible about the location, description of people involved and vehicles used.
