Scottish Borders Community Planning Partnership has issued its household survey for 2015. The survey is distributed to 6,000 households across the Borders and asks how satisfied people are with things like bus services, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and local leisure facilities. Results of the survey will be available in the autumn. These will be used to shape future services.
The last survey, undertaken in 2013, produced a 34% response rate:
92% stated they were satisfied with their neighbourhood as a place to live
69% said they rated us as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’
For the first time the survey is also available online (through the SBC website) for anyone who wants to take part but does not get a copy in the post.
