Alison Matheson of Scottish Natural Heritage said: “These grants make a difference to people and to wildlife, so we are delighted to continue funding them. They give all of us the chance to get involved in nature projects that inspire us, and make a difference to the area we live in.

“We’re celebrating the Year of Natural Scotland this year, so we hope people from round the country will make the most of this opportunity to get outside, enjoy nature and help look after it.”
