Spooks are abroad in Hawick as the Reivers Festival gets off to a ghostly start.
The festival will once again celebrate the rich history of the Borders with re-enactments, torchlight parade, Reivers banquet, literary tea, ceilidh, historical walks and much more.
Come and meet the spirits of Hawick past and hear the grizzly and gory stories of your ancestors!
There will be two ghost tours on Friday, March 24 commencing at 7.30pm and 8.30pm, from the Turnbull Statue, Hawick Civic Space. Tickets are £4 each or £10 for family of four (two adults and two primary age children).
Afterwards, make a night of it by joining the Reivers Ceilidh Band for a fun night of dancing, from 8pm to midnight.
Held at the ‘Auld Baths’ kick up your heels to a braw night of Scottish music - don’t worry if ceilidh dancing is new to you, instructions will be given. A great night for all ages. £5 each (family of 5 £20). Bar available and bacon rolls on sale at interval.
