THE Border Textile Group has an early start to the autumn programme on Saturday, September 1, when textile artist and author Gail Lawther will be guest speaker.
There is expected to be a lot of interest in the talk by one of Britain’s leading quilters, which takes place at Foulden Village Hall starting at 2pm prompt.
Gail’s work centres around unique display pieces. She has a passion for variations on stained-glass patchwork, which has become something of a signature style. The fee for guests, who are most welcome, is £3.
