This weekend sees the return of On the Fringe, Berwick’s Fringe Film and Art Event.
It launched last year to run alongside the main Film and Media Arts Festival and returns this year with more exciting documentaries and art. On the Fringe gives local artists and film makers the opportunity and space to show their work in Berwick.
Building on the success of last years launch, On the Fringe has doubled in size.
There are going to be ten new and exciting local artists and film makers on display at the event which will be hosted at 10a Bridge Street. Included in the event will be two very topical short documentaries.
The first focuses on the first ship to be sunk by a torpedo in World War One just off St Abbs Head while the other is about the Scottish referendum.
The works featured have been produced by Harriet Grecian, Arto Polus, Sarah Dagrosa, Jim Gibson & Alysoun Sharpe, Lindsay Walker, Lee Mace, Matty Kelly, Lani Irving, Daniel West, Anna Dakin and Event founder/curator Stewart Hardie.
On the Fringe Art and Film Event opens Thursday September 18 until Sunday September 21 11am-6pm at 10a Bridge Street.
