The Red Arrows will be giving Eyemouth Herring Queen elect Isla Purvis, a fly past at 1.15pm as she sails from St Abbs into Eyemouth harbour ahead of her crowning ceremony.
Then following the crowning ceremony at 4pm, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will give Eyemouth their second fly past of the day.
Eyemouth Herring Queen Festival committee member Wendy Lough said: “This is an exclusive for Eyemouth Herring Queen and we are delighted that they have chosen our festival. The committee are very excited and it will be the icing on the cake for Isla’s crowning day.
“Red 8 called us on Thursday to confirm the times and will fly in over the crowning site.”
