Eight golfers from Duns are in the pink having raised over £1,130 for Cancer Research UK.
Steven Burns, Steven Blaikie, Graeme Whitehead, Johnnie Thorburn, Martin Aitchison, Douglas Reid, Russel Patterson and Daniel Wood - all dressed from head to toe in pink and all loaded with pink drivers - boarded the first tee at The Hirsel Golf Club, despite heavy rain throughout the morning, and boys played the 18 holes without waterproofs and showed of the dazzling outfits.
The boys then travelled north and, after a very kindly donated lunch by Border Baguettes in Duns, they teed off for another 18 holes sat Duns Golf Club in the same pink attire although somewhat damp.
The afternoon was a much drier event and the round was completed in pink T-shirts and big smiles.
Hirsel professional Daniel Wood finally managed to win the sweep after being pipped to the post in previous year charity events.
The boys would like to thanks The Hirsel GC, Duns GC, Border Bagettes and everyone who sponsored them and helped raise £1138.27.
