Thieves break into Pearson's garden centre in Duns this morning.

The two thieves were captured on the centre’s CCTV system between 1 and 3am, using a ladder to gain entry, and the company posted the video on social media this morning.

The perpetrators were wearing masks, but it’s hoped their trainers, also caught on camera, will help police trace them.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called at around 9am on Thursday, March 17, to reports of a break-in at a property on Station Road, Duns.

The thieves' trainers were on show for the cameras.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
