Police are appealing for witnesses following a housebreaking at Castle Dykes, Cockburnspath.
The incident occurred some time between 8.30am on Tuesday, February 3 and 3.30pm on Wednesday, February 4. Several high value items of jewellery were stolen along with a number of personal items.
Anyone who can assist officers with their ongoing enquiry is asked to come forward.
Philip Moule from Police Scotland said: “This crime has been particularly distressing to the homeowner and I would encourage anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area to contact police immediately.“
