The class have been working towards their John Muir Discovery Award and the project challenged them to Discover, Explore , Conserve and Share their experiences.

During the project the class explored the wood next to the school and also Binning Woods in East Lothian.

They visited the woods during spring and autumn last year and carried out various sensory and environmental activities.

They carried out a litter pick up in the woods and also helped remove some of the invasive species growing in Binning Woods.

The Award is a great achievement and the class celebrated all they had learnt by creating a presentation which they shared with the rest of their school, their families and friends.
