Charities in the Borders have just under one month left to apply for a £300,000 funding pot.
The Dream Fund, a grant scheme encouraging charities and community groups in the Borders to work together, is nearing its deadline on December 2. With up to £100,000 available for three inspiring projects, Trustees are calling all Scottish charities to apply.
Last year’s successful Dream Fund saw only four per cent of total applications from the Borders. Yet, with the winning projects having made such a fantastic difference to local communities, it’s an opportunity that charities cannot miss in current economic times.
Groups in the Borders are reminded to get their application in by the deadline of December 2.
To be eligible to apply for the Dream Fund, two or more organisations must collaborate on a project, one of which must be a registered charity.
Shortlisted proposals will then be invited to pitch their ideas to the People’s Postcode Trust’s trustees.
Prospective applicants can find out more information and details of the funding criteria at www.postcodetrust.org.uk.
