These are just two of the outstanding lots going under the hammer at Duns Castle on Friday, April 26.

Auctioneers from Bonhams, the world famous auction house, will be in attendance to support the Berwickshire High School’s latest fund raising venture to help send students from the school to Peru with the Vine Trust, to work with disadvantaged children and communities.

Other fantastic lots include a flight in a vintage aeroplane, jewellery, hand-made bellows, a live band, paintings, salmon fishing, deer stalking, holidays, 30 year old malt whisky, exquisite dining experiences, and a rugby ball signed by the Scottish rugby squad. And with lots also including designer sunglasses and supplies of firewood, there’s sure to be something to suit everyone’s pocket.

Organizer of the event, Agnes Temper, said: “We are extremely grateful to everyone who has so generously donated these wonderful gifts for the auction, and especially to Mr and Mrs Hay of Duns Castle for allowing us to host the event at such a prestigious location”.

Tickets are £15, available from [email protected] or 07980 800962.
