Car hits tree at Cornhill

Emergency services were called to a one vehicle crash at Cornhill in the early hours of Tuesday, October 18.

Police received a report of a one vehicle collision on the A697, five miles south of Coldstream at 3.26am on Tuesday morning.

It involved a Vauxhall Corsa car which had come off the road and collided with a tree. Police and Fire Service attended and the casualty, a 19 -year-old man, was extracted from the vehicle and taken to the Border Hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be serious.
