The future’s looking orange once again - for the tenth running of the Borders Fun Run to raise money for the Border branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The fun run, sponsored by JS Crawford 3rd Generation Ltd hopes to surpass the £50,000 raised since the 5km run, which attracts around 400 participants a year, got underway back in 2004.

Prior to the event on Sunday, June 2, local MS chairman Elizabeth Pope said: “All the money raised stays in the Borders to help fund a dedicated physiotherapist providing vital services for Borderers.”

Michael Crawford of sponsors JS Crawford 3rd Generation added: “Once again we’ve got great prizes to award to those who raise the most sponsorship and the best fancy dress. If you can’t dress up, just wear something orange.”.
