To achieve the Bronze at the first attempt was a really positive message for BHA and their staff.

Investors in People Assessor, Anne Harrow, highlighted the Group's efforts to involve staff at all levels by establishing a clear communication framework, staff consultative committee and excellent training opportunities for staff at all levels.

Commenting on the award, BHA Group Chief Executive Helen Forsyth said: "In a time when the climate for all employers is hard and we have had to make cuts and to support staff through difficult times, it is particularly heartening for all our staff to know that we can still provide a positive place to work and hopefully continually improve on our service to customers both tenants and users of our care services.

"The housing association's next challenge will be to work towards the silver award and continue to make both our housing and care services good places to work."
