DO you have a favourite photo of your pet? Would you like to see them on BARK’s 2012 Christmas Cards? Our photographic completion give your pet the chance to feature on one of six Christmas cards. Put it in an envelope, with your name address and telephone number and a £1 entry per photo, and drop it into our shop at 12 Church Street, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1DX.

There is no limit to the number of entries and the photo does not have to be of a rescue pet. Judging takes place at the end of June.

We are now taking bookings for our car boot sale on Sunday, May 13, arrival of cars from 8am, buyers from 9am, and it is proving to be very popular. To book a space please ring the kennels on 01289 306299. We are also having a kennel open day, starting at 10.30am, with access to view all animals in the kennels.

Just some of the animals currently looking for homes are four month old sulki cross greyhound Millie. Although she is a sweet and loving dog, she has severe separation anxiety which leads to a very noisy and destructive dog. She needs someone home all the time to allow time to train her to be on her own. She could go with another dog and has lived with cats.

Buzz is a four year old greyhound, a very people friendly dog who is ok around dogs outside the home but not keen on them in his own home. Abbey is a seven year old Akita, who walks well on lead and appears good around other dogs. A lovely girl who has found herself back in rescue through no fault of her own.
