We are delighted that our shop move is almost completed and we warmly welcome you all to our grand opening on Saturday, March 14, at 10 am.
With more than triple the floor area, there will be double the bargains. We now have a changing room, so you can try before you buy, and small electriconics section, a small furniture section, as well as your old favourites.
So if you’re looking for a large flat screen telly, chest of drawers, something to see you through the rest of the cold weather, or to see you into the spring, toys to entertain the children, or a new dinner set, we think you’ll find something to fit the bill.
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity extended to BARK and have been able to fit the shop out with mostly donated items.
We are very grateful to Gail and John Youngman for the huge amount of shelving, brackets and display items and to a lady, who we are sure would wish to remain nameless, whose generous donation has allowed us to buy a super new display counter.
Our thanks also go to Fantasy Prints, Neil Creelie, Stephen Barnett, Neil Oliver, Neil Swinney, Kreative Technology, Osprey.com, Noon Entertainment, Steven Cook, all the volunteers and supporters of BARK.
As you can see the list is very long and we will have missed off numerous people, far too many to mention individually but we really do appreciate all your help.
On Saturday, to give you a few ideas of the quality of clothing donated to our shop, we will have an informal fashion show. We will also be holding a raffle, with a large Easter Egg for the winner.
Of course all this is for the numerous animals in our care who are looking for loving and safe new homes. Rena and Frank Hockney have donated a fantastic new display unit for our shop they will show the animals off beautifully.
We hope as many of you as possible will come along on Saturday and beyond.
