Our Car Boot and Kennel Open Day is now being held on Sunday, September 16. As you may have read last week BARK is one of the charities that will benefit from The Record Breaking 24 Hour Cocktail Shakeathon. Alan Walker will be attending our open day, so come along and get an idea of what you might be able to see and taste at the 24 hour event.
Our shop is very busy at the moment and always has a good range of items for sale. They also have a stock of our Christmas Cards which are priced at just £2.99 per mixed pack of 6 as well as notelets.
Our cattery has reached crisis point and has overflowed into our isolation room. Although some of these cats are not up for rehoming yet, there is still 18 other cats to choose from. Please, if you think you could offer one a home contact us or come in and see us between 12 and 4 from Tuesday to Saturday. One cat which is not ready for rehoming yet is Shelly who was brought in from Church Street. This cat was in poor condition and in need of both medical attention and a little bit of extra tlc. She is a black and ginger cat with white including white paws. Any information on an owner would be appreciated. Unless a cat is in need of medical treatment the first thing to do if you think a cat might be a stray is make enquiries locally, perhaps put a collar asking for an owner to contact you, or us as long as you contact us first. This worked well last week with a “stray” ginger cat who’s owner contacted us within three minutes of posting the details on our facebook page.
