A Duns native is hoping to go down a storm at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe after her show last year gathered rave reviews.
Annie Renshaw, who is now based in the capital, has had much success with performing since retiring from teaching in 2006.
Her music is inspired by her Border homeland and Annie has a lot of memories to draw on having also lived in Coldstream, Yetholm, Jedburgh and Hawick.
She will perform at the Acoustic Centre at St Bride’s on Edinburgh’s Orwell Terrace on Wednesday, August 14 where she will be supported by Celtic band Muckle Flugga.
Tickets, priced £8 are available from www.edfringe.com or from St Bride’s from August 5.
