One of the world’s most famous chefs has made a dog’s dinner of his latest creation – a special menu for man’s best friend.
Legendary chef Albert Roux is celebrating Pet Month by redefining the meaning of the well-known phrase with the introduction of his unique culinary creations for canines.
A permanent addition to the human friendly menu, the delicious dogs’ dinners will be served across a number of Inverlochy Castle Management International (ICMI’s) pet friendly properties, home to Chez Roux and Albert & Michel Roux Jnr restaurants, including the Roxburghe Hotel and Golf Course.
Four legged guests can enjoy a selection of salmon, mackerel, spinach and brown rice risotto, turkey and sweet potato stew and meatloaf with chicken jelly.
Albert Roux, head of the Roux cooking dynasty and driving force behind the UK’s first triple Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Gavroche said: “I designed a menu that would appeal to pet enthusiasts, like myself, which would be available alongside our much-loved restaurant menus.
“Guests like being able to bring their dogs with them when they stay at the ICMI properties, so we’re anticipating this being very popular.”
