Another person has been charged with drug offences in the Borders as part of Operation Gatekeeper.
Officers carried out an intelligence-led search of an address in Galashiels on Monday, March 28 where dealer quantities of heroin were recovered along with diazepam tablets and other drug related items.
A 28-year-old man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal and appear in court at a later date.
Detective Inspector David Fyvie of Lothians and Scottish Borders Proactive Unit said: “Operation Gatekeeper was launched to tackle all forms of drug crime across the Borders and actively target those responsible for the production and distribution of harmful substances.
“Once again, vital information from the public resulted in the successful recovery of heroin and a male will face drug charges at court.
“We will continue to work alongside our partner agencies and local communities.”
