Prince Andrew, the Duke of York made a dramatic entrance in Eyemouth back in 2004 when his helicopter touched down ahead of a tour of the harbour.

He went on a guided inspection of over 100 rare boats which were being restored by the Scottish International Sail Craft Association, Eyemouth. He then moved on to the then recently redeveloped fishmarket, and watched workers packing shellfish.

Told by eight-year-old Alana Hanlon that the Duke of York was visiting that day, the prince asked: “Who’s he?”
