Research commissioned by the Scottish Government has revealed that nearly a third of people have already felt the financial strain of the Covid-19 outbreak and are worried about its impact on their household finances.
The report showed that 39 per cent of people in South Scotland report being concerned about the impact of Coronavirus on finances.
These findings follow the launch of a campaign by the Scottish Government and the Citizens Advice network that aims to raise awareness of the financial support available to people in South Scotland.
