With a little bit of help from the youth work team at the project, General Mills and Reactions, a team of eight young people have used their enterprising skills to design and develop a friendly, welcoming cafe with a full quality menu at affordable prices.

The group, who will manage and staff the cafe themselves, have worked hard to complete their food hygiene certificates and create a menu that they feel young people and the general public will enjoy.

The cafe’s grand opening will be tomorrow, Friday, at noon. The group and staff wish to thank Graham Exley of 24/7 Safety Training for providing the food hygiene training and helping to set up health and safety systems.

The innovative venture will only be open for the six weeks of the summer holiday.
