Collaborative Lawyers are committed to minimising familial conflict during separation, helping both parties to put children first, ensuring that people make good financial choices, and minimising the emotional damage.
“The way that it was described to me,” said Kathryn, “was that this was a way of ensuring that despite everything going on, couples can dance together at their children’s weddings.

Collaborative practice offers separating couples a way to agree their separation arrangements in divorce, without a court battle and with minimum conflict.
Kathryn worked and trained with Consensus Collaboration Scotland, an organisation of Scottish lawyers, and consultants.
