We had a stray rabbit handed in from Lowick, which sadly has remained unclaimed. She has appeared to have recovered from the trauma of having to fend for herself for over a week. Unfortunately there is a possibility that she may be having babies, time will tell.

Three feral kittens came in as well last week. Fortunately the finder is also trying to trap mum and get her neutered. The three are doing well and taming up nicely. One is a long haired black and white, one tabby and white, who is the more timid of the three, and one is short haired and entirely black. We have two ginger tabbies in, Amber who is in double figures and Bob who is around six. Both are large cats and both are loving and affectionate. Poodles, the black and white overweight cat, is still losing weight slowly but steadily. She loves to play now and would benefit from a home where she can be out and about enjoying a bit of natural exercise.

We have two collies in, long haired Blue and short haired Roy. Blue has led a sheltered life but is progressing well. Blue will benefit from a home as an only dog. Roy is also a failed collie and is very loving. He is more confident, walks well on lead and is bright as a button. Edward is a small to medium sized dog who is around eight years old. He needs a home without children and a calm atmosphere.
