Who needs Glastonbury when you can have Paxtonbury?

The grounds of Paxton House rocked out to the sounds of a host of bands on Sunday afternoon as Paxton Gala became a huge success.

The event, organised by The Cross Inn and dubbed ‘Paxtonbury’ attracted a crowd of between 300 and 400 people who took in performances from the likes of The Joe Mangels (pictured above), Summerland, Ian Thompson, Nick Holmes, John Peakman and special guests Scocha in the warm sunshine.

Well over £1,000 has been raised for Cancer Research so far with more money coming in from people all the time.

The team at The Cross Inn would like to thank everyone who went along to the event; the performers and all those who have made a donation.

They are thrilled with how it went and are already looking forward to next year.
