Following the much acclaimed ‘The Words in the Wires’ last year, the hugely talented Tideline Runners are preparing to return to the stage with their latest production, musical ‘Sam & Isla Forever’.

Set locally over six decades, the play tells the story of two young lovers separated during The Battle of the Somme and a quest to reunite them against incredible odds. Mixing elements of romance, adventure and whip-smart comedy- the show is set to be the theatrical event of the summer. Rehearsals are now well under way with cast members undergoing military drill training as well as musical direction from Anna Emmins and Tamsin Davidson and choreography by Chloe Smith. The show, on at The Maltings from July 31-August 2, stars Fraser Smiles and Rachael Cross (pictured) as the tragic couple Sam and Isla.
