An exhibition of salmon fishing on the Tweed is being held at the Watchtower Gallery, Tweedmouth, from March 18 to April 21.

This most ancient of skills can still be watched on the River Tweed between the Jacobean stone bridge and the mouth of the river.

The exhibition opening is from 2-5pm on Saturday, March 18, and all are welcome. Opening hours are 12-4 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Watchtower location: from Berwick cross the Old Bridge, turn right under the New Bridge, then left at the first junction (West End) and look for the turrets!
