Duns travelled to Selkirk Youth Club in the Scottish Borders Semi Junior League, and despite defending well for long periods eventually went down by 31-3.
The Colts were missing a number of regulars behind the scrum and Selkirk started like a house on fire, and for the opening 10 minutes had Duns pinned in their own 22.
Selkirk scored two tries in that opening spell, one converted, before Duns began to come more into the match. Dom Ginn kicked a penalty for Duns, but Selkirk scored a third try shortly before half time to give them a 19-3 lead.
They added two more in the second half, one converted.
