Scottish Motocross on the up at Duns

The newly formed SMXF Scottish National Championship comes to Duns this weekend, April 7/8.

Langtonlees is the host for the second round of what is looking like being a hugely successful championship, bucking the trend of the recession.

A big entry of youth riders from age six upwards will take to the line on Saturday from 10am, riding 50cc bikes up to the bigger and much more powerful 250cc machines. The racing then continues with a big entry of adult riders arriving to join the action on Sunday.

Fast and exciting racing is a certainty in all classes as riders battle for position to gain valuable championship points.

Langtonlees is an outstanding race track, not just for the competitors, but also for spectators, due to it’s hillside location. Being Easter, bring your eggs to roll at the same time!

Spectators are welcome and the track will be signposted from Duns. For any further information please contact www.dunsmotocross.co.uk
