Celebrate the Olympic countdown with The Berwick Advertiser and Berwickshire News
AS part of the build-up to the Olympic Games this year we are featuring a selection of local clubs whose sports will be showcased in London 2012.
With the London Games only 57 days away, this is an ideal opportunity for local clubs to promote themselves, and we would ask that any club whose sport will be included in the Games answer the following questions, and give us a brief run-down on their make-up (ie size, training nights, venues etc).
When was your club set up?
How many members do you currently have?
Is your club looking for new members? Who can join?
What is the greatest benefit of playing your sport?
Where do you go to compete and train?
How is your club celebrating the Olympics being in Britain?
What memories do your members have of watching your sport at previous Olympics? Do they remember the first time they watched or played their sport?
