Tillside maintained their third place in the Northumberland Premier League with a comfortable seven wicket win over Ashington Rugby Club on Saturday.
Ashington batted first and put on 115, all out in the 43rd over.
Top scorer was Paul Milburn on 39 with Lewis Tanney adding 23.
Alan Hindmarsh produced a fine spell of bowling with figures of 3-7 from his eight overs, and there were also three wickets for Law Atkinson and two for Matthew Whitty.
In reply Tillside got off to a steady start with openers Toby Culham and Gavin Turnbull hitting 22 and 27 respectively.
They were eventually taken over the line by Cameron Beasley on 30 not out and Whitty on 19 not out.
Berwick went down to a six wicket defeat away to Blagdon,
Berwick batted first but they lost four early cheap wickets and it was only 46 from James Patterson and 24 from Bhavesh Soni which prevented a total collapse.
They were all out for 130 with Matthew Senior doing most of the damage with figures of 5-30.
In reply Blagdon opener David Gibson hit 64 and with 21 from Mark Forster they won on 132-4.
Steven Emery and Scott Middlemist claimed two wickets apiece, but it was nowhere near enough to give Berwick a chance of pulling this one out of the bag.
