Classic car enthusiasts from all over the UK are converging on Berwick on May 4 to compete in the Berwick Classic. The event, now in its 18th year, has attracted over 50 entries for the annual run through Northumberland, Berwickshire and East Lothian.

Entrants face a mixture of special tests and regularities in the 170 mile route which finishes at Whitekirk Golf and Country Club.

Leading the field away from the start in Tweedmouth at 5pm on May 4 is last year’s winner Dougie Humphrey from Dunbar in his Mini Cooper S (pictured above) navigated on this occasion by Richard Crozier from Edinburgh.
