Another fine evening saw 19 riders once again on the 10 mile Pistols course for the first of eight fixtures in the Time Trials Points League.

A slight easterly breeze slowed down the first few riders after the turn, but it soon dropped and the remaining riders had near perfect conditions. Seven personal best times were achieved.

Chris Isaats took the win in 22:18 with Andrew Scorey settling for second place only nine seconds behind (22:27). Steve Rowley took third place (23.46) with Dougie Robertson fourth (24.31) improving on last week’s time of 25.09 and taking the 10 points on the night. Joyce Mark once again took first place for the Ladies in a very respectable 26:34.

Six ’Wheelers’ missed the time trial as they were enjoying a week’s cycle training in the hills and sunshine of Mallorca.
