Borderers perform well at Tranent

While an Easter Sunday is meant to be spent rolling Easter Eggs and lying in the brilliant sunny weather, nine young Borders badminton players were slogging it out on the courts at Meadowmill Sports Centre in Tranent in the Anglo-Scottish Invitational event.

Only being beaten by the eventual winners Lothian A the team did very well indeed.

Coaches Peter Hardie, David Burns and Lynn Young were delighted with the result as one of the top young team players was missing - Jodie Black who was in Belgium with the Scottish Development squad.
