Berwick Speedway suffered more postponement misery when their KO Cup clash against Sheffield last night (Thursday) was called off due to a waterlogged track.

Bandits, who hold at 18-point first leg advantage, were due to race at Owlerton in the return, but the meeting was postponed shortly before start time after heavyr ain fell throughout Yorkshire.

So far this season Berwick have had several away meetings fall victim to the weather - two away to Redcar, one away to Glasgow, one away to Newcastle and now one at Sheffield.

Bandits hope to face Scunthorpe at home in the Premier League on Saturday, but again the forecast is not in their favour - fans are asked to check firstto see that the meeting is on.
