Athletics: Cameron Tindle crowned double sprint champion

Cameron Tindle won U17 gold in both the 100m and 200m in Aberdeen.

Berwick sprinter Cameron Tindle enjoyed double success by being crowned Scottish U-17 champion at both 100m and 200m.

The Edinburgh Athletics Club member finished ahead of clubmate Sandy Wilson in both U-17s finals at the Scottish Outdoor Age Group Championships in Aberdeen.

Tindle, coached by Eyemouth’s Henry Gray, won the 100m in a time of 10.72 seconds and then completed the double surging to gold in the 200m in 22.03sec.
