Berwick Rangers v East Sterling Damon Gray

SUPERSUB Damon Gray headed an equaliser ten minutes from time to earn Berwick Rangers a point at Links Park.

Lee Currie smashed a 25-yard left-footed free-kick against the bar on 36 minutes, while at the other end Berwick keeper Jamie Barclay saved from Martin Boyle just before half time after a mistake by Rangers defender Jordan Forster.

Stuart Noble then had a chance to put the visitors ahead just before half time, only to have his shot saved.

Montrose opened the scoring four minutes into the second half when Scott Johnston’s cross was headed down by Lloyd Young and Boyle scored from close range.

But Ian Little’s Rangers fought back well. The home keeper made a series of good saves before an 80th-minute Currie corner was headed in by substitute Gray.
