Well done to Berwickshire Schools player Lewis Learmonth who was a mascot at Saturday’s Scotland game against Australia.

Lewis himself had just played his own game for Duns against Stewart’s Melville leading from the front – and despite his small stature put in some huge tackles throughout the game.

He was led out at Murrayfield by John Barclay, who went on to have a superb game for Scotland despite their narrow 23-22 defeat – it must have been Lewis’s pre match talk that did the trick!

Well done Lewis from all at Duns RFC and we hope you had a great day and enjoyed the experience.
