Bamburgh and Wansbeck shared the points in a six-goal thriller in the North Northumberland League.

The castle side took a two-goal lead through Johnny Johnson, but a Mitchell Fawcus strike saw the visitors pull one back before the break.

In the second half Wansbeck netted twice to go 2-3 up with two goals from Jamie Graham, but Bamburgh equalised through Dan Johnson for a 3-3 draw.

Tweedmouth Rangers also had to settle for a draw when they faced Red Row at home, the final score being 1-1. Itwas end to end in the first half and plenty of chances were created, but it remained goalless at the break.

Red Row went in front through Sean Palmer, but Jonathan Brown salvaged a point for the Berwick side when he headed home from a Lee Dodd cross.

Highfields lost 2-0 away to Alnmouth United, the home side remaining top of the table as a result of their victory. The first was an own goal, the second coming from Liam Jefferson.

Tweedmouth Harrow won 3-0 at Craster. Johnny Gill and Mark Douglas put the Berwick side 2-0 up at half-time with Jordan Richardson netting the third in the second half.

Second division leaders Belford were in rampant mood when they took on Lynemouth Anglers at home.

It was only 2-0 at half-time, but Belford banged in 11 after the break for maximum points. Mark Dunlop netted a double hat-trick for the home side with Dan Tully and Ross Moore bagging two apiece. Fraser Tait, Ryan Lilico and Kevin France all added one.
