Alnmouth United continue unbeaten at the top of Division One after a fourth straight win at home to Lowick United.

Andy Metcalfe and Paul Wood were the Lowick scorers but an Andy Murray hat-trick and further goals from Peter Murray, Jorden Frost and Liam Jefferson gave Alnmouth the points with a 6-2 win.

Tweedmouth Rangers moved above Lowick into second spot as goals from Craig Howard, Mitchell Simpson and Peter McAskill saw them beat Red Row 3-2. Both the Red Row goals were scored by Sean Palmer.

In Division Two Belford head the table on goals scored after they netted six times at home to Wooler Reserves.

Belford were always the more dominant side and a Ross Moor hat-trick in the first half set them on their way.

Moor scored a great goal after only four minutes, wriggling his way past three defenders before finding the net.

He then went on to complete his treble with two well struck free kicks, and other goal before the break putting them in control at 4-0 at half-time.

In the second half Wooler grew more into the game and a goal from James Guthrie midway through gave them some hope.

But Belford finished strongly and two late goals saw the home side take maximum points.

Belford’s other goalscorers were Mark Dunlop, Grant Sharp and Tom Bell.

Four goals from Paul Johnson and a Michael Antcliffe hat-trick were included in the final total for Springhill as they netted 15 times against new boys Eglingham FC and moved into second spot in the table.

Meanwhile, Embleton WR and Amble St Cuthbert shared the points after sharing six goals while Craster Rovers had Liam Crowe, Sean Toal and Lee Pattinson on target as they beat Alnmouth.

In the Bilclough Cup Tweedmouth Harrow , Bamburgh Castle and North Sunderland all progressed into the next round.
