Coldstream goalkeeper Mark Walters scooped all the major awards at the club’s annual presentation night.

He collected player-of- the-year accolades from the manager, committee and fellow players after a superb season between the posts.

Under the guidance of goalkeeping coach Jimmy Taylor, Walters has developed over the years into what many now consider to be the best goalkeeper in the East of Scotland League.

His consistent performances for the Streamers cemented his place in the League Select side and helped the Berwickshire side secure their goal of Premier Division safety survival.

His form has attracted interest from other clubs, but Walters has indicated that he will be staying at Home Park.

Seventeen-year-old defender Jake Birkett, who took the young player of the year award, looks like he will be departing to university this summer.

The award for top goalscorer went to Sean Simpson, who ended the season with 11 goals. Taylor won the club man of the year award.
