East of Scotland side Eyemouth United have appointed Mike Galloway as manager of their first team.
Galloway, who played professionally with Halifax, Hearts and Celtic, takes over from former manager Carl Hudson, who left the club a fortnight ago to take up a similar role with EOSL rivals Duns.
He was introduced to the team following their win against Peebles on Saturday and will take charge for the first time ahead of their game against Easthouses Lily this weekend.
A statement issued by the club said: “Mike comes with a wealth of experience.”
After being forced out of the professional game following a serious car crash, Galloway has been involved at local level with Wooler in the North Northumberland League.
He was also appointed manager of EOSL Coldstream at the start of last summer but left before the start of the season.
