Eyemouth slipped to a disappointing home defeat at the hands of Ormiston on Saturday.
Eyemouth had selection problems, notably in goal, where they were without a regular keeper and Wylie had to step in between the posts.
Despite this they started off the game well with most of the game being played in the Ormiston half.
But despite all this pressure the Fishermen could not put the ball in the back of the net. The deadlock was broken by Ormiston after a counter attack down the left wing and the cross cut back for them to slot into the back of the net.
The fisherman had a chance to level the game with Buckley one-on-one with the Ormiston keeper but the keeper came out on top.
Eyemouth went in at the break 1-0 down.
In the second half the fisherman again, had most of the play and were outdone with another counter attack.
Burns lost the ball up field and Ormiston went up the other end and put the ball in the back of the net.
Burns was sent off after protesting to the referee he was fouled whilst on a mazy upfield. The game was put to bed shortly after with Ormiston netting the third and final goal.
