Coldstream manager Stevie Gibbard has bolstered his squad by signing two new players.

Left-sided forward Luke Strangeways has joined from Wooler, while midfielder Kristian Neill has also put pen to paper.

Strangeways scored lots of goals for Wooler in the Northern Alliance last season, but his home-town team have struggled this season and are at the foot of the table. He will face a similar challenge at Coldstream, who are bottom of the East of Scotland Premier Division.

Neill returns to the club after two years working in Aberdeen, where he played amateur football. The 25-year-old from Berwick made two first-team appearances for Berwick Rangers in 2011 before leaving to join Coldstream.

Gibbard took over a threadbare Coldstream squad following Neil Oliver’s departure in November, but has now added seven new faces.
