Chirnside United Colts will face Lauder in the final of this year’s Sanderson Cup after the sides came through their semi-final clashes at the weekend.
In Saturday’s games, the Colts overcame the challenge of Kelso Thistle to win a high-scoring game 7-4.
Lauder, meanwhile, saw off Bowholm by a 3-0 scoreline.
The final will be played at Selkirk’s Yarrow Park, on April 12, kick-off 2pm.
In the Waddell Cup quarter-finals Newtown and Greenlaw were involved in a ding-dong match, the Berwickshire side eventually going throutgh on penalties.
The sides were tied 2-2 at the end of normal time, and in extra-time both sides scored again to finish level at 3-3.
Greenlaw won 4-3 in the shoot-out from the spot, and they now go forward to the last four in the competition.
In the A League Graham Kelly scored twice for Chirnside in a tense game against Leithen Rovers, the teams ending the day at 4-4.
This was a game in which two players were sent off, and the referee also awarded three penalties.
The result leaves Chirnside top of the table but at least two chasing sides, including Leithen, could still overhaul them in the race for the title.
In the B League Gordon beat Eyemouth Amateurs 4-0 in the all-Berwickshire clash, whilst Coldstream Amateurs were awarded a walk-over against Hawick Legion.
